Flakes: Meet the regrind.
These flakes are a material of their own, ready for reuse or further reprocessing.
Melting: A change of state.
Heat and shear soften the pieces. Each separate batch becomes a continuous polymer melt.
Strands: A continuous new beginning.
The melt is drawn into slender strands, then cooled and prepared for cutting.
Cutting: Small cuts. Fresh potential.
The cooled strands are cut into short cylinders, forming the familiar shape of a granule.
Granules: Made for what comes next.
